The Hindi Bhavan in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, witnessed the grand launch of the ghazal collection “Hai Dil Ki Baat” by poet Mritunjay Sadhak on Sunday, along with a mesmerizing poetic symposium.
The event was presided over by former Uttar Pradesh Education Minister Shri Baleshwar Tyagi. The Chief Guest was Shri Upendra Rai, CMD of Bharat Express, while the Special Guests included renowned litterateur and founder of Gaur Group, Sahitya Bhushan Dr. B.L. Gaur, and eminent poet Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi. The program was elegantly hosted by senior poet Dr. Anju Suman Sadhak, whose every word resonated like a delicacy simmering on a hearthтАФpolished, refined, and captivating the audience deeply.

Shri Upendra Rai, CMD of Bharat Express News Network, remarked, “I believe that without poets, the world would be utterly devoid of essence. Poets reign over the realm of emotions. In this era of violence, they delve into hearts and minds to reveal that losing in love can be as beautiful as winning.”
He further emphasized, “Great poets often exhibit remarkable humility. Their satisfaction lies not in victory or defeat but in bringing happiness to ordinary people and evoking smiles on their faces. Poets perceive life differently; even when they encounter bitterness, they respond not with hostility but with softness. Life is brief, they believe, and instead of enmity, why not foster friendship?”

Shri Rai added, “Our true self is the one we had before birth; the face we wear in life is shaped by this world. Poets live in the delicate balance between the real and the constructed, illuminating the path for others through their insights.” He praised Mritunjay SadhakтАЩs work and quoted a line from the book, “Har hriday mein ek kasakatu peed hoon, jod de jo sabko wahi zanjeer hoon” (I am the anguish that resides in every heart; I am the chain that binds all together).

The event was enriched by insights from Sahitya Bhushan Dr. B.L. Gaur, who highlighted the importance of parental blessings, attributing his success to his parentsтАЩ grace. He stated, “A mother is always above all earthly deities. MritunjayтАЩs writings deeply touched my heart.”
The program’s president, Shri Baleshwar Tyagi, commended the book, while Dr. Madhu ChaturvediтАЩs analytical take on the themes left the audience spellbound.

The divine event, facilitated by the organizing committee of “Hai Dil Ki Baat,” honored 251 personalities excelling in various fields. Additionally, five meritorious studentsтАФTanisha, Anuj, Sameer, Shalini, and ZubairтАФreceived the Swargiya Malti Devi Samman in memory of the poetтАЩs late mother. This recognition included a cash prize, ceremonial attire, and a garland of affection.
