Amid the ongoing Navratri celebrations across the country, the Delhi Traffic Police have introduced special traffic arrangements and restrictions to manage congestion in the national capital.
Routes Impacted by Traffic Restrictions
In light of the Ramleela event taking place near the Red Fort, traffic restrictions have been implemented on Subhash Marg in central Delhi during the nine days of Navratri. According to the advisory issued by the Delhi Traffic Police, large crowds are anticipated for the event. To facilitate smooth traffic movement in the area, vehicle access on Lower Subhash Marg will be restricted between 5 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. from October 4 to October 12.
The advisory further states that DTC and cluster buses, along with heavy and commercial vehicles, are prohibited from using Upper Subhash Marg, between Delhi Gate and Chhatta Rail, during this period.
