Kuki militants attacked the CRPF camp located in Boro Bekra, Jiribam. In response, the CRPF took counter-action, leading to an encounter where at least 11 Kuki militants were killed.

In Manipur’s Jiribam district on Monday, November 11, 2024, a clash between CRPF personnel and Kuki militants led to the death of 11 insurgents. The encounter took place when Kuki militants launched an attack on a CRPF camp. According to sources cited by news agency NNI, a CRPF soldier was injured in the crossfire and was airlifted to a hospital for treatment.

Earlier on Monday morning in Imphal East district, a farmer was injured when militants opened fire from nearby hills. This incident marked the third consecutive day of attacks by Kuki militants targeting farmers working in the Imphal Valley. Security forces arrived promptly and engaged in a brief encounter. The injured farmer was taken to the Yangangpokpi PHC hospital, where his condition is now stable.
