In his first major political address, Vijay set forth his party’s vision with the motto, “Everything for everyone,” emphasizing his commitment to providing basic needs like housing, food, and employment. Taking a swipe at the DMK’s rhetoric, he questioned their use of the term “fascism” to describe the BJP, asking, “If they are fascist, are you any better?”

Connecting emotionally with the crowd, Vijay said, “I’ve left my career at its peak to enter politics, putting my faith solely in you.”

Addressing a large gathering at the first state conference of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), actor and party leader Vijay compared his entry into politics to a child handling a snake.

“Some say we are children in politics, but we’re children who handle the snake of politics with confidence,” he stated.

Vijay likened politics to a snake, saying he’s here to face it with seriousness but also with a smile. Critiquing current political speeches, he stressed the importance of brevity and directness. “Politics needs to evolve, just like science and technology. We must be clear and concise, explaining the problem and the solution without unnecessary history or statistics.”

Vijay outlined his party’s vision, saying, “Our goal is straightforward: everything for everyone. A house, food, and income—this is our promise.”

He expressed admiration for figures like Periyar, while distancing from Periyar’s atheistic stance, and embraced principles on social justice, equality, and education. Vijay also cited K. Kamaraj and B.R. Ambedkar as inspirations, pledging to combat both divisive and corrupt politics.

Vijay highlighted his party’s unique focus on women leaders, honoring figures like Velu Nachiyar and Anjalai Ammal as symbols of strength.

“We stand against those who divide us and those who are corrupt, who may hide behind principles,” he remarked, hinting at the ruling DMK. He criticized the “Dravidian model” as a front for exploitation, challenging its portrayal as people-focused governance.

Reaffirming his dedication, he told the audience, “I left my career at its peak to join politics because of my faith in you.” Ending his speech, Vijay expressed confidence that TVK will gain public support for a majority victory while remaining open to alliances if needed.
