Rahul Gandhi’s helicopter has been stranded in Godda, Jharkhand, due to a lack of clearance from Air Traffic Control (ATC). Reports suggest that his helicopter has been waiting for clearance to take off from the helipad for over half an hour. The Congress party has alleged that this delay is due to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in the area.
During the ongoing election campaign in Jharkhand, Rahul Gandhi’s chopper was held up at the Belbadda helipad in Godda. According to the Congress, the delay in granting clearance was intentional and politically motivated. A Congress MLA criticized the BJP, accusing it of using unfair tactics.
Footage from the helipad shows Rahul Gandhi waiting inside the helicopter while security personnel stand nearby. The Congress has strongly condemned the incident, claiming it reflects the BJP’s manipulative practices.
Kalpana Soren had also made similar allegations
Recently, Kalpana Soren, the wife of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and a Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLA, had leveled a similar accusation. On the final day of campaigning for the assembly elections, she claimed that her helicopter was denied permission to fly. Addressing an election rally in Latehar over the phone, she stated, “The people of Jharkhand are witnessing how the BJP and the central government are disrespecting the people of the state.”
