After the death of Hezbollah’s chief, Hassan Nasrallah, Qassem delivered three speeches, with two broadcasted from Beirut and the third recorded from Tehran.

Hezbollah’s Deputy Secretary-General, Naim Qassem, has reportedly fled Lebanon and is now residing in Tehran, as Israel ramps up its military offensive against Hezbollah. The escalation has already claimed the lives of several key figures, including the group’s chief, Hassan Nasrallah.

According to UAE-based Erem News, an Iranian source disclosed that Qassem left Lebanon on an Iranian aircraft about a week ago. He was reportedly flown out on the same plane that carried Iran’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi, following orders from Iranian leadership to ensure his safety.

Following Nasrallah’s death, Qassem gave three speeches—two were delivered from Beirut, while the third was recorded from Tehran.

As Israel continues its campaign against Hezbollah, it has successfully taken down several top-ranking members of the group. Among those killed are:

  • Fuad Shukr: A founding member of Hezbollah
  • Hassan Nasrallah: Hezbollah chief
  • Ali Karaki: Senior commander
  • Nabil Kaouk: Deputy head of the central council
  • Mohammed Srur: Head of the drone unit
  • Ibrahim Qubaisi: Head of the missile unit
  • Ibrahim Aqil: Operations commander
  • Mohammed Nasser: Senior commander

On October 20, the Israeli military conducted an airstrike on a Hezbollah command center and an underground weapons facility in Beirut. The Israeli Air Force confirmed that the strike hit Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters, killing three senior commanders: Alhaj Abbas Salameh, a prominent figure in Hezbollah’s southern command; Radja Abbas Awache, a communications expert; and Ahmad Ali Hussein, who was responsible for overseeing the development of strategic weapons for the group.
