Rajpal Yadav Opens Up About Main Meri Patni Aur Woh Sequel; Calls It the Best and Heartwarming News
Iconic Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav recently expressed his excitement over the sequel to his beloved film Main Meri Patni Aur Woh. Known for his versatile performances, Rajpal starred as the lead in both Main Meri Patni Aur Woh (2005) and Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon (2003), which were released on October 7 in different years.
Rajpal shared his joy, stating, “The best news for me is the sequel to Main Meri Patni Aur Woh. This is very heart-warming news for me. After Main Meri Patni, I started doing everything that came my way. But when I think about the sequel, it feels like I am a student again. This news makes me feel like I’m back to the way I was twenty years ago. I still receive compliments for this film to this day.”
He credited the original film for shaping his career and helping him gain recognition beyond comedy. “If it wasn’t for Main Meri Patni Aur Woh, I would probably be just a one-dimensional comedian. It is every actor’s dream to play different kinds of roles, and I feel fortunate to have had the chance to do so. Both films gave me legitimacy as a leading man.”
Rajpal Yadav has an exciting lineup of projects, including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, which is set to release soon, followed by Baby John this Christmas in November. He will also appear in Journey with director Anil Sharma and Palash Muchhal’s Hum Tum Maktoob. With half a dozen projects in the works and three nearing release, Rajpal Yadav continues to impress audiences with his talent and dedication.
