Ramabhadracharya- Head Tulsi Peetth, has called for the removal of government control over Hindu temples, advocating for Hindi to be declared the national language and the Ramcharitmanas as the national scripture. He expressed that no one is as tolerant as Hindus and emphasized that their tolerance is continually being tested.
Tulsi Peeth’s head, Ramabhadracharya, expressed his views on various national issues on Friday. He advocated for removing government control over Hindu temples, declaring Hindi as the national language, and making the Ramcharitmanas the national scripture. Additionally, he called for the inclusion of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir into India.
Addressing political statements made about Hindu and Muslim religions, Ramabhadracharya said this was wrong, noting that the Supreme Court has also stated that Hindutva is synonymous with Indian identity. He questioned why the country endures what he described as injustices by Muslim political parties and cited disturbances during recent Durga Puja celebrations.
